The Arcturians

The brightest star in Boötes.

The Arcturians are said to hail from Arcturus, a red-orange giant star roughly 37 light-years from Earth in the constellation Boötes — one of the brightest stars in the night sky. In channeled and New Age literature, Arcturus is described as "one of the oldest and most evolved systems in our galaxy."

Edgar Cayce — the "sleeping prophet" — first named Arcturus in over thirty trance readings between 1928 and 1944. He called it "the most advanced civilization in this galaxy" and "a stargate — an entranceway to other realms of consciousness." Every soul, he taught, passes through Arcturus between incarnations.

1984 to now — Milanovich, then Scranton.

The modern Arcturian voice surfaced in 1984, when Norma Milanovich began receiving transmissions through her microcomputer from beings aboard a starship near Earth. Her book We, the Arcturians (1990) remains the canonical contactee text.

Tom Kenyon began channeling the Hathors — an Arcturian-aligned interdimensional collective specialized in sound healing — in the late 1980s. His four-octave vocal range became the proof-of-channel.

Today, Daniel Scranton publishes near-daily messages from the 9D Arcturian Council — more than 1,500 transmissions and counting at danielscranton.com. Scranton's daily feed has become the single steadiest drip of Federation guidance in 2025–2026.

Three feet tall and not entirely physical.

When described physically, the Arcturians are typically rendered as three to four feet tall, blue or milky-skinned, with large almond eyes, slender bodies, and no need for food or sleep. UFO-lore sources occasionally describe taller variants — ten to twelve feet — with nictitating blue eye-membranes acting as light filters.

But most channelers (Scranton, Milanovich, Cori) describe them as fundamentally non-physical light beings who present a humanoid form only for the contact experience. The form is a courtesy.

Cayce called Arcturus a stargate — an entranceway to other realms of consciousness. Subsequent teachings expand this: Arcturus serves as the processing center for souls between incarnations. Millions of souls are said to pass through daily, undergoing a Life Review and choosing their next incarnation with the help of their Higher Selves and Arcturian stargate guides.

If the Pleiadians do outreach and the Sirians anchor history, the Arcturians keep the dimensional infrastructure running. The Federation's healers, engineers, and council-keepers.

Octahedron, blue sphere, Mer-Ka-Ba.

Symbolic associations include the octahedron, the blue sphere, and the Mer-Ka-Ba — the counter-rotating tetrahedral light vehicle. Governance is attributed to the Arcturian Council of Twelve (also rendered as the Council of Elders), a frequently-channeled body. Their work is geometric in nature — coherence over drama, structure over noise.
